In my opinion, the John Wick franchise is one of the most overrated film series of all time. I'm serious, I watched all four films [the fourth I saw in theaters] and I felt absolutely nothing after watching them! It's the weirdest thing, all the films have the right trappings of a great film franchise; a kick-ass main character, epic action scenes, impressive stunt choreography, and colorful side characters. However, I now realize there are three important things that the John Wick films are grossly lacking: memorable villains, decent storytelling, and an all-around likeable protagonist. Don't get me wrong, John Wick is one Helluva kick-ass main character. . . but no matter how hard I try, I just...can't...seem...to connect with him. Or at least, connect with John like I can with other protagonists like Peter "Maverick" Mitchell, or Twilight Sparkle, or James Bond, or Hell even Winnie the Pooh. Honestly, at the end of the day, I can't say I didn't have fun with the John Wick film
RiP Shane MacGowan
So, today I found out that Shane Macgowan passed away at the age of 65. First off, I want to say that it was inevitable. He's been in a perpetual state of drunkenness since he was five [no joke, Shane started drinking at the age of five years old], so it's no surprise that his health finally gave out. With that said, it is saddening to hear of his death since he's left an indelible legacy with his lyrical and vocal work for The Pogues.
10 Years!
Just a few minutes ago, I checked my profile, and it's official: I've been on DeviantArt for ten fucking years! To be fair, I never had doubts that I would leave this site. Even when I talked about leaving, I didn't go through with it. Either way, I'm glad I didn't quit this site. Even when it went through massive changes, good and bad, or whatever.

!!Happy Halloween 2023 Everyone!! Sorry if I couldn't post Halloween art lately. I got sick last weekend, and I'm still kind of recovering. Plus, I couldn't think of any costumes to put Bryan and the girls in this year. So, yeah, here's to hoping I have something fun whipped up next year, and again, Happy Halloween to everyone!
